Its patients may be subsequently admitted to one of 80 inpatient departments specialized in abdominal, endocrine, cardiovascular or neurosurgery, urology and gynecology, traumatology and orthopedics, ophthalmology, to one of the several cancer departments, the infectious diseases service, one of the therapeutic departments or the maternity unit. If a patient (a foreign citizen, a citizen of a foreign state, as well as a stateless person) has a policy of voluntary medical insurance upon admission to the Hospital for emergency indications, the patient or an accompanying person shall inform the insurance company that issued the policy of voluntary medical insurance about the emergency by calling the hotline. After that, the insurance company sends a letter of guarantee to the health care facility with the obligation to cover the treatment. Planned and outpatient medical care to the patient (a foreign citizen, a citizen of a foreign state) is carried out on a paid basis under contracts for the provision of paid services with individuals and legal entities (residents of the Russian Federation), or under contracts of voluntary medical insurance, the list of which is presented below.
